EBC lecture to explore shifting economics and globalization
John Guiseppe, instructor in economics at Penn State Berks, and a panel of six students will discuss the shifting economy and the role of globalization at the upcoming Engineering, Business, and Computing (EBC) Division Research Interest Group lecture on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at 1 p.m. in room 5 of the Luerssen Building. This event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.
The presentation titled "Shift Happens: Creativity, Imagination, Exponential Change, and the Role of Education," explores the trends in the rapidly changing world of economic and cultural globalization, as well as implications, goals, and objectives in American education at various levels.
The EBC Research Interest Group features Penn State Berks faculty and visiting experts who conduct research on a wide variety of topics. Topics are of broad and general interest and are accessible to the non-expert.
