Pagoda and skyline of Reading, PA

Active & Ongoing Projects

Students in a CAS 201 course began an extended research project in Spring 2011 that investigates the history of buildings that comprise the skyline of the City of Reading as seen through the windows of the Pagoda, a local landmark and tourist attraction.

In an interdisciplinary upper-level course, students partnered with the Jewish Community Center to gather images for a photographic history book which was accepted for publication in Arcadia's Images of America series.  View completed projects »

The Center includes faculty from disciplines including economics, global studies, health and human sexuality, math, education, and communication arts and sciences. Personnel will assist you with the logistical planning and execution of your project.

Civic and Community Engagement Minor

In the minor students integrate democratic, professional, and creative development. In particular, the minor serves to encourage, recognize, and systematize student participation in public service or problem-based fieldwork and research.
