Purchasing a Robe
Graduating students must wear an academic robe to participate in the commencement ceremony. Robing arrangements are made through the Penn State Berks Bookstore.
"Keeper gowns," which include gown, mortarboard, and tassel, may be purchased for $38.00, plus tax, and will be available until May 5, 2012. Extra tassels are also available at $4.98 each. If you are borrowing a cap and gown from a former graduate rather than purchasing a cap and gown from the Bookstore, you must notify the Registrar's Office.
For your convenience, personalized graduation announcements can be ordered; and the Bookstore carries Penn State "thank you" cards and diploma frames.
The Bookstore will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on the day of commencement.
