The associate degree in Agricultural Business helps prepare students for employment in commercial agriculture and businesses serving agriculture. The two-year program provides training in management, business organization, agricultural marketing, and sales to prepare students for the business aspects of careers. It also provides specialized training in technical agriculture appropriate for each of the options.
Because of the diversity of career paths to choose from, this major has five options:- general
- crop production
- livestock production
- horticulture
- food systems
The two-year associate degree is designed with many courses counting toward a minor in Agricultural Business Management and the four-year baccalaureate degree in several other majors in the College of Agricultural Sciences.
