The Spanish Minor
Scheduling Recommendation by Semester Standing
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MINOR: 18 credits
All students wishing to complete a Spanish Minor must take a minimum of 18 credit hours of Spanish at the Spanish 100 level and higher. A grade of C or better is required for all courses in the minor. Courses taught in English may not be counted toward the minor.
PRESCRIBED COURSES: 9 credits
Spanish 100 (3) Intermediate Grammar and Composition
Spanish 110 (3) Intermediate Conversation
Spanish 215 (3) Introduction to Spanish Linguistics or Spanish 253W (3) Introduction to Hispanic Literature
SPAN 100 and SPAN 110 may be taken concurrently, but both must be taken before either SPAN 215 or SPAN 253W.
