Paying for college is one of the biggest purchases a family will make in its lifetime. This website is your first stop as you identify potential resources to help you fund a Penn State education.
Students at Penn State are considered for all federal financial aid programs, including grants, loans and work-study programs. Information about specific fund eligibility can be found at www.psu.edu/studentaid. In addition, Penn State students may also be eligible for state grant funds from their home state. For Pennsylvania residents, specific information about the Pennsylvania State Grant Program can be found at http://www.pheaa.org/.
Students at the Berks Campus are also considered for scholarship support. Scholarships from Penn State typically come from the Office of Student Aid, the department that houses the student's major, and from the campus. First year students do not have to apply for Berks Campus funds as all students are reviewed in early spring for eligibility, based upon their prior academic performance. Applications for scholarships offered by the academic departments may be found on the website for the particular department.
All students are encouraged to apply for financial aid regardless of perceived financial need.
