Dr. Robert Forrey is a Distinguished Professor of Physics at Penn State Berks. Prior to joining Penn State in 1999, Dr. Forrey was a Research Associate at Harvard University. He has held research positions at the Institute for Theoretical Atomic and Molecular Physics and the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory.
Dr. Forrey is a Fellow of the American Physical Society. He has published more than 70 refereed journal articles on a variety of topics in physics, chemistry, and astrophysics. His research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Smithsonian Institution, Air Products, Inc., and NASA. He recently gave invited talks at the Cold Atoms and Molecules workshop in Kyoto and at the Atomic and Molecular Physics of the Early Universe workshop at Harvard University.
