One size fits all? Variability in human muscle discussed

Benjamin Infantolino, Lecturer in Kinesiology and Biology at Penn State Berks, will give a presentation titled “One Size Fits All? Variability in Human Muscle” to kick off the Spring 2011 Science Division Colloquia Series on Friday, February 4, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in room 123 of the Luerssen Building. This presentation is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served.

In this presentation, Infantolino will discuss current research that aims to quantify the amount of variability that exists in all human muscles by using both dissection of cadaveric muscles as well as measurement of live subjects.

The Division of Science Colloquia features Penn State Berks faculty and visiting professors who conduct research on a wide variety of topics. Topics are of broad and general interest and are accessible to the non-expert.
