Faculty-developed eLearning Content

Faculty members who opt to design an entire hybrid or online course often identify the need to create multimedia-based online instructional resources to support their course. Our team supports faculty success in this realm. Through a series of one-on-one meetings, we can:

  • Define the rationale for the project
  • Analyze the instructional requirements and learning objectives
  • Identify appropriate instructional strategies
  • Select applicable eLearning development tools
  • Consult on effective use of text, sound, animation and graphics to achieve the desired learning outcomes
  • Train and support in design, development, publishing, implementation and assessment

Popular faculty-developed eLearning resources include:

  • Instructional videos
  • Screencasts
  • Narrated slide presentations
  • Podcasts
