Courses Taught
International Studies  100 Syllabus
Introduction to International Studies
This course will explore the nature of world affairs in the aftermath of the Cold War. To show the contradictory nature of our world today, we will explore two very different cases: Bosnia and the European Community.
Political Science  001 Syllabus
 Introduction to American National Government
In this class we focus on the origins and structure of the U.S. government, how it works, and what it does.
Political Science  003 Syllabus
  Introduction to Comparative Politics
For each country studied we will look briefly at the nation's history, political culture, and political institutions. The core question to be asked about all these countries is simple...why did they turn out the way they did? What explains, for example, why some states become stable democracies and others dictatorships?
Political Science  014 Syllabus
Introduction to International Relations
In this class we are looking at issues of life and death--war and peace between the countries of the world.
