Penn
State Berks is committed to faculty research, scholarship,
and creative activities. Research in all forms contributes
to improving society, educating students, advancing knowledge
in the disciplines, and enhancing the College's reputation
as an institution of higher learning. The College recognizes
that both faculty research and teaching skills weigh heavily
in promotion and tenure decisions. BK values and supports
all forms of scholarly inquiry and creative activity and
encourages the integration of research, teaching, and service.
