Dr. Ramsey teaches the following courses at the College: Effective Speech; Rhetorical Theory; Language, Culture, and Communication; Gender and Communication; Rhetoric of Television and Film; and Contemporary Political Rhetoric.

Her research interests include representations of gender in the media, women's rights rhetoric, social movement rhetoric, and political rhetoric.

Aside from running the Communication Arts and Sciences minor, she is also the academic adviser for Communication Arts and Sciences and Crime, Law, and Justice majors at the Berks campus.
